Sacramento, CA: Motorcyclist Hurt in Traffic Crash on Interstate 5

Sacramento, California (February 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a car Saturday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at about 2:08 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5, just south of Florin Road off-ramp.

A driver of a white Nissan Murano called authorities reporting that a motorcycle hit them in the slow lane.

The motorcyclist ended up down in the slow lane and the motorbike in the center divider.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to help the rider who sustained minor injuries. It was not clear if the driver of the Nissan was hurt.

The motorcycle was towed away from the scene.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
