4 Injured, 1 Seriously in Indio Crash on Geology Tour Road
Indio, California (February 21, 2021) – Four people were injured, one seriously in an off-road vehicle crash in the Joshua Tree National Park, Indio, authorities said.
The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Geology Tour Road in a remote area on the national park’s western side.
According to the officials, the off-road vehicle crashed on the roadway for undetermined reasons.

One person sustained major injuries. Three others sustained minor injuries in the accident.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter flew the person with major injuries to a hospital.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
