Man Killed in Pleasanton Pedestrian Accident at Johnson Drive and Owens Drive
Pleasanton, California (February 21, 2021)– A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night at an intersection in Pleasanton, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at around 7:40 p.m. Friday, February 19, at the intersection of Johnson Drive and Owens Drive, authorities said.
According to the authorities, a man was walking on Johnson Drive when, for unknown reasons, a southbound vehicle hit him.

The man was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
The driver stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said. It is undetermined if intoxication played a role in the collision.
