Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash on Highway 51 at Marconi Avenue
Sacramento, California (July 3, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened early Sunday morning in north Sacramento, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday, June 28 on Highway 51 at Marconi Avenue exit.
According to the CHP report, two people were riding separate motorcycles in the southbound lane of Highway 51 when, for undetermined reasons, they collided.
One of the motorcycles was described as a black Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

One of the riders suffered major injuries that included a broken left ankle, a broken right arm, and road rash. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.
A passenger car stopped at the scene, but the role in the accident remained unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
