Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Car Crash on Highway 99 near Fruitridge Road
Sacramento, California (April 20, 2021) – Minor injuries were suffered in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 5:47 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just north of Fruitridge Road.
As per the report, four vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of the patients, however, was not mentioned. An ambulance was requested to the scene to provide medical aid to the victims.
The report also added that a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident with property damage only also happened at the same scene.
CHP is investigating the collisions.
