At Least 1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Accident on 80 Freeway near Truxel Road
Sacramento, California (January 9, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a traffic collision Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 3:18 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, on westbound 80 Freeway, just west of Truxel Road onramp.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. A female was lying on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway after the accident.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to the injured persons. At least one person complained of pain as a result of the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
