Contra Costa, California (January 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Contra Costa on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. January 8, on Interstate 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road.
As per the CHP incident log, a motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision. However, the events preceding the crash were not immediately established.
Two juveniles are reported to have sustained injuries in the collision.
The authorities said one party attempted to flee the scene.
