1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Sacramento Collision on Highway 50 near 65th Street
Sacramento, California (June 17, 2021) – One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle pileup that transpired Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities received reports about the accident at around 2:10 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50, just west of 65th Street.
Five vehicles were involved in the collision.
Sacramento firefighters and Caltrans responded to the scene.
One person who suffered minor injuries was taken to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the wreck was not mentioned, but CHP is investigating.
