Fresno, California (June 17, 2021) – A Fresno accident involving at least two vehicles Monday morning sent one person to the hospital.

On June 14, at around 7:45 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a report of a crash involving a hit-and-run driver at 4025 East Central Avenue near Peach Avenue.

Although Officials did not immediately establish how the accident occurred, one of the involved motorists escaped the scene before they arrived.

Medical personnel responded to the crash site and attended to one person before taking them to the Saint Agnes Medical Center for further treatment.

The crash resulted in the closure of a section of Central Avenue for an unknown time.

Meanwhile, the investigators are gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
