25-Year-Old Man Dies, Rosalie Galindo Jr. Arrested after Fresno Car Accident on Friant Road near Willow Avenue

Fresno, California (June 28, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday afternoon alleged DUI hit-and-run crash that killed a 25-year-old man and left four others injured in Fresno.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:05 p.m. Saturday, June 27, on Friant Road near Willow Avenue.
According to the authorities, the 25-year-old man was driving northbound on Friant Road when, when for unknown reasons, he lost control of his car.
The car reportedly swerved across the southbound lanes, skidded off the road and flipped over, ejecting the driver.
Fatal DUI Hit-and-Run Crash on Friant Road in Fresno
The 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His passengers, a 6-year-old girl, a 7-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl, and a 21-year-old man, were taken to Community Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Moments later, after the officers and emergency personnel got to the scene, Rosalio Galindo Junior, 25, returned to the scene and told the police that he was involved in the accident.
Galindo was driving without a license and may have been drunk. He was taken to the Fresno County Jail, charged with felony hit-and-run, the CHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
