Moreno Valley Driver Killed in Riverside Car Accident at Campus Parkway and Day Street

Riverside, California (April 7, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash between two vehicles on Monday morning in Riverside, according to the Riverside police.
The incident happened at around 9:45 a.m. April 6, in the area of Campus Parkway and Day Street.
According to police, a 34-year-old Moreno Valley man was driving a 2009 Dodge Avenger westbound on Campus Parkway when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a 2018 Ford Focus traveling southbound on Day Street.
Driver Killed in Riverside Car Accident
The Dodge driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was rushed to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford, a 51-year-old Moreno Valley man, sustained minor injuries.
The authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
