Humberto Garduno Identified as Rider Killed in Chino Motorcycle Collision on Kimball Avenue

Chino, California (April 7, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a collision involving a big rig on Thursday evening in Chino has been identified as Humberto Garduno, 27, of Chino, according to the Chino Police Department.

The incident took place at about 5:30 p.m. April 2, in the 6700 block of Kimball Avenue.

Authorities said Garduno was an employee at the Walmart Distribution Center. He left the center and failed to stop for a red light, colliding with an OnTrac big rig.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and performed life-saving measures on Garduno, but were unsuccessful. Garduno died at the scene.

The driver of the big rig was unhurt and stayed at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
