Teen Killed, 3 Injured in Los Angeles Car Crash on 110 Freeway

Los Angeles, California (April 7, 2020) – A teen was killed and three others injured in a multi-car accident that occurred on Sunday night in Los Angeles, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at around 9:08 p.m. April 5, on southbound 110 Freeway south of Wilshire Boulevard.
According to the report, a 2012 Ford Edge was traveling in the No. 5 lane of southbound 110 Freeway when it lost control and slammed into the concrete wall. The Ford then collided with a 2006 Hyundai Azera that was also in the No. 5 lane.
The impact caused a chain reaction collision, involving a 2009 Nissan Versa in the No. 5 lane and a 2000 Nissan Quest in the No. 4 lane.
Teen Dies in Los Angeles Multi-Car Crash
A 16-year-old boy riding in the Ford Edge was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 18-year-old driver of the Ford Edge and the 59-year-old driver of the Nissan Versa suffered minor injuries. An 18-year-old woman in the Edge also suffered minor injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
