Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Redwood City Crash on 280 Freeway near El Monte Road
Redwood City, California (April 23, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash was happened at around 4:23 p.m. on the Interstate 280 Freeway near El Monte Road off-ramp.
As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist was hit by a silver BMW car on the southbound lanes of the freeway.

First responders arrived at the crash site and found a fully dressed motorcyclist lying on the roadway. The rider was then transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The name and condition of the motorcycle rider at this time remained unknown.
Details regarding the other driver were not immediately provided. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
