Paul Klink and Sargi Rodriguez ID’d as 2 Victims Injured in Sonora Car Accident on Highway 108 near Washington Street and Lime Kiln Road
Sonora, California (October 10, 2020) – Sargi Rodriguez, 36, of Modesto, and William Simpson, 70, of Jamestown, have been identified as the two people who were injured Monday evening in a traffic accident involving three vehicles in Sonora.
The California Highway Patrol said the three-vehicle crash occurred at around 4:20 p.m. Monday, October 5, on Highway 108, just south Washington Street and Lime Kiln Road.
According to the CHP, Simpson was driving a 2004 Buick Century westbound on Highway 108 at approximately 20 mph when he rear-ended a 1999 Toyota Tacoma that was stopped for a red light, driven by Rodriguez.
The force of the impact caused the Tacoma to slam into a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck that was stopped in front of it.

Klink and Rodriguez sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Intoxication was not believed to have been a factor in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
