26-Year-Old Richmond Woman Killed in Contra Costa County Car Crash on Highway 4
Contra Costa County, California (October 10, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday afternoon traffic accident that killed a 26-year-old Richmond woman in Contra Costa County.
The deadly single-vehicle accident transpired at about 3:00 p.m. on Highway 4 near Martinez.
According to the police, the Richmond woman was driving on the McEwen Road onramp to eastbound Highway 4 when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle drifted off the roadway and went down an embankment.

The woman was ejected on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if the drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
