Man Killed in Palmdale Pedestrian Accident on 10th Street West near Avenue N-8
Palmdale, California (January 8, 2021) – A man, believed to be in his 30s, died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Palmdale, according to a local news source.
Authorities said the deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, on 10th Street West, just south of Avenue N-8.
According to the authorities, the man was walking northbound in the number two lane of 10th Street West when he was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet that was also heading northbound, driven by a 25-year-old man.
Pedestrian Killed in Palmdale Crash on 10th Street
The pedestrian died at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
10th Street West was closed between Avenue O and Avenue N for about five hours while the investigation took place.
