Palm Springs, California (March 18, 2020) – Two people were killed, and two others sustained severe injuries following a two-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Palm Springs late Monday night, authorities reported.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on East Vista Chino at North Indian Canyon Drive.

The accident involved two vehicles that collided along the roadway on March 16 for reasons still under an active investigation.

Sadly, two people riding in one of the involved automobiles were declared dead at the crash site. Two other victims were hospitalized with serious injuries sustained in the wreck.

Meanwhile, the identities of both the deceased and the injured parties have not yet been released to this time.

Detectives believed drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
