Man Severely Hurt in Central Fresno Motorcycle Crash on West Avenue and Dakota Avenue
Fresno, California (March 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major motorcycle collision that left a male rider with critical injuries on Tuesday evening in Central Fresno.
The collision was logged at about 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at West Avenue and Dakota Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a white BMW was traveling north on West Avenue while a man in a motorcycle was riding south on West Avenue. The BMW then turned westbound on Dakota Avenue and crashed into the motorcycle.
Major Motorcycle Crash at West Avenue and Dakota Avenue
Responding firefighters along with medical personnel rushed the male rider to Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. The unidentified man was listed in a critical condition.
Officials confirmed that the car driver was unhurt in the crash. The motorist reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
