Jaime Garcia ID’d as Driver Injured in Car Accident on State Route 162 in Butte City
Victim Hurt in Butte City Traffic Crash on State Route 162 near Shasta Street ID’d as Jaime Garcia

Glenn County, California (March 18, 2020) – 45-year-old Jaime Garcia, of Vina, has been identified as the driver who suffered minor injuries following a traffic collision that happened in the area of Butte City last week Tuesday afternoon.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the two-vehicle crash happened on State Route 162, just west of Shasta Street at around 2:30 p.m. on March 10.
The accident began when a Chevy Silverado driven by 24-year-old Taylor Geisbrecht, of Glenn, hauling a 30-foot home-built equipment transportation trailer eastbound on State Route 162, approaching a 90-degree made an unsafe turn through the curve in the highway.
The trailer then overturned onto its side and hit a Ford F-250 operated by Garcia eastbound on SR-162. Due to the impact of the collision, the Ford acquired major damage.

Jaime suffered minor injuries to his left arm following the crash. No one else was hurt in the wreck, including Geisbrecht and his passenger 36-year-old Guadalupe Paz-Frias of Vina.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
