Woman In Her 50s Killed in Pacoima Pedestrian Accident on Laurel Canyon Boulevard

Pacoima, California (January 11, 2019) – A woman was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Pacoima, police said.
The deadly crash was reported at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 10 in the 10600 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
According to the police, the woman was hit by a vehicle for an unknown reason on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. The driver then fled the scene.
The woman, who was in her 50s, was declared deceased at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
According to a local news source, the suspect vehicle was described as a Toyota Prius.
Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The crash remains under investigation.
