Redwood City, California (January 11, 2019) – A motorcyclist was possibly injured after a traffic collision Thursday morning in the area of Redwood City, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened a while after 7:46 a.m. Thursday, January 10, on northbound Highway 101 near Old Middlefield Way off-ramp.

As per the CHP officials, a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a vehicle crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Emergency crews along with medical personnel responded to the scene and found the rider lying in the roadway with possible injuries.

The victim’s name and current condition remained unknown.

Officials said that the motorcycle sustained minor damage following the accident.

Authorities mentioned that a female party driving a black Jeep called and reported the accident. She was probably involved in the collision.
