Ontario, CA: Major Injury Traffic Crash on Interstate 15 near Interstate 10

Ontario, California (March 9, 2021) – At least one person was severely hurt when multiple vehicles collided Tuesday evening on a freeway in Ontario, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash that happened at about 6:11 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 near Interstate 10.

The report said the collision occurred under unclear circumstances and left at least one vehicle on fire.

Ontario firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help at least one person who suffered severe injuries.

There were no other details available about the incident.

CHP is collecting more information to determine the cause of the crash.
