At Least 1 Person Killed in Ontario Collision on 60 Freeway

Ontario, California (October 18, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in Ontario, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. on 60 Freeway.
According to the police, a car driven by a man was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into another vehicle near a construction zone, causing a chain-reaction crash.
The man attempted to flee the scene, jumping over the median, attempted to dart across the eastbound lanes, and was struck by a vehicle.

Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the crash, the officials said.
