2 Seriously Injured in Contra Costa County Crash at Camino Tassajara and Windemere Parkway

Contra Costa County, California (October 18, 2020) – Two persons were seriously injured in a head-on crash on Sunday night in a rural area north of Dublin and east of San Ramon in Contra Costa County, authorities said.
At about 6:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury two-car accident about a half-mile north of the intersection of Camino Tassajara and Windemere Parkway.
The CHP said a white Volkswagen collided with a black Chrysler on the roadway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
2 Injured in Head-On Crash at Camino Tassajara and Windemere Parkway
Both drivers sustained major injuries in the accident. One was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek while the other was transported to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
