Pacific Beach, California (October 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday afternoon bicycle accident that left a 49-year-old man seriously injured in Pacific Beach.

The major injury crash happened at about 3:15 p.m., on October 17, at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Reed Avenue.

According to the police, a 2017 Harley-Davidson Sportster was headed southbound on Ingraham Street when it collided with the 49-year-old male cyclist riding eastbound on Reed Avenue at the intersection.

Man Injured in Bicycle Accident at Ingraham Street and Reed Avenue

The cyclist was hospitalized with a broken left femur and broken ribs.

The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, suffered road rash to his right leg in the accident.
