Major Injuries Sustained in Oceanside Crash on Interstate 5 near Las Pulgas Road

Oceanside, California (June 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Oceanside, leaving at least one person with major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided at around 3:08 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near Las Pulgas Road.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the cause and manner of the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene of the major injury collision to find one person with a dislocated shoulder. The patient was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
CHP is collecting more information to establish the cause of the crash.
