53-Year-Old Oceanside Man Killed in Oceanside Motorcycle Crash on Oceanside Boulevard

Oceanside, California (February 9, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The fatal crash happened at about 2:20 p.m. February 8, on Oceanside Boulevard.
Police said a truck was exiting the El Corazon compost facility when the driver made an illegal left turn and collided with a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Oceanside Boulevard.

The rider was killed in the crash. He was only identified as a 53-year-old Oceanside man.
Police arrested the driver of the truck on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter.
Oceanside Boulevard was closed for several hours as officials investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
