Oakhurst Crash on Road 427 near Elliott Drive Kills Skateboarder
Palmdale, California (July 8, 2021) – A 20-year-old man died following a skateboard accident that occurred Wednesday night in Oakhurst, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly crash happened at approximately 11:55 p.m. on Road 427 near Elliott Drive.
The accident happened when the 20-year-old man riding a skateboard behind two other people westbound on Road 427 was rear-ended by a dark-colored SUV that was heading westbound on the highway.
Due to the impact, the male party was ejected from the skateboard onto the highway.
Fatal Skateboard Accident
Despite life-saving measures, the skateboarder died in the accident.
The involved SUV operator did not stop to render aid to the victim and escaped the crash site.
