Newhall Pass, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Saturday morning following a pileup crash in Newhall Pass, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The multi-car wreck happened at around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, July 3, on Highway 14, just north of Interstate 5.

CHP said five vehicles collided for unknown reasons in the southbound lanes of Highway 14.

One of the vehicles involved was blocking the roadway while four others were on the right shoulder.
