At Least 1 Injured in Newberry Springs Crash on 15 Freeway near Alvord Mountain Road
Newberry Springs, California (May 4, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a two-car collision that took place Monday morning in Newberry Springs, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the vehicles crashed at about 9:50 a.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Alvord Mountain Road.
Responding emergency crews said at least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.
According to officials, a hit-and-run accident also occurred in the same area. I was not clear if any person was hurt in that accident.
CHP is investigating the collisions.
