Driver Killed in Needles Accident on Interstate 40
Needles, California (October 17, 2020) – A driver was killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident in Needles, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash, which was reported to the CHP officers at around 5:50 a.m. Thursday, October 15, happened on Interstate 40 and involved one vehicle.
As per the CHP report, a 1992 Ford F150 crashed on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The driver, believed to be a 55-year-old white male, was declared dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
