Mountain View, California (May 9, 2021) – Two people were injured Saturday evening in an alleged DUI crash in the Mountain View neighborhood in San Diego, according to authorities.
The major injury collision happened at around 6:08 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in the 400 block of South 45th Street.
The authorities said a 35-year-old man was driving a 2012 black Ford Fusion on South 45th Street when he allegedly ran a red light at an intersection and struck a southbound 2003 red Ford Ranger pickup driven by a 49-year-old man.
The Fusion then hit a parked vehicle, which rolled back and crashed into another car.

The Fusion driver sustained a cut to his head while the pickup driver suffered a broken leg. Their names and current condition were not disclosed.
Investigators believed alcohol played a role in the collision.
The accident remains under investigation.
