1 Killed, 2 Injured in Sylmar Crash on West Foothill Boulevard

Sylmar, California (May 9, 2021) – One person was killed and two other people were injured Sunday night in a traffic collision in Sylmar, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The deadly accident was reported at around 9:03 p.m. in the 16637 block of West Foothill Boulevard.
The authorities said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons on West Foothill Boulevard.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two people who were trapped inside the wreckage.
Sadly, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene while two other patients were taken to a regional Trauma Center in unknown conditions.
The names of the deceased person and the injured parties have not been disclosed.
