Vallejo, California (March 12, 2020) – 67-year-old John Heady, of Vallejo, has been identified as the male party who died following a motorcycle accident that happened in the area of Vallejo on February 25, according to the Solano County coroner’s office.

The fatal motorcycle crash was reported at about 2:46 p.m. in the 1600 block of Solano Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident involved a motorcycle ridden by Heady and a blue 2009 Honda operated by 44-year-old Vallejo woman.

The circumstances that lead to the collision were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.

 Heady, who sustained serious injuries, died in a local hospital on Wednesday, March 4.

The female motorist remained at the scene after hitting Heady.

No other details regarding the wreck have been released to this time.

The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
