1 Killed in San Jose Motorcycle Crash at Foxworthy Avenue and Rubino Drive
San Jose, California (July 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in San Jose on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:50 p.m. July 14, at Foxworthy Avenue and Rubino Drive, near Almaden Expressway.
A motorcycle was traveling on the roadway when it collided with a vehicle for unknown reasons.
The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The identity of the motorcyclist was not immediately disclosed.
A number of streets in the area were closed as the officers examined the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
