Monterey County, California (February 27, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a Friday night traffic accident in Monterey County, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred at about 11:40 p.m., on February 26, on Maher Road and Royal Oak Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it flipped over and landed on its roof for undetermined reasons.

Sadly, at least one person, who was in the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
