Modesto Thursday Morning Pedestrian Accident on West Orangeburg Avenue Left 67-Year-Old Man Dead
Modesto, California (September 24, 2020) – A 67-year-old man died on Thursday morning following a traffic collision that happened in the area of Modesto.
Officials responded to the fatal crash site shortly after 8:00 a.m., in the 200 block of West Orangeburg Avenue.
The accident involved a delivery van heading eastbound on West Orangeburg Avenue and the male party riding on a wheelchair.
Police said the man was traveling eastbound along the highway when he was hit by the van.

Meanwhile, the man was hospitalized at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto after the mishap.
There were no other victims injured following the wreck.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
