Modesto, California (May 16, 2021) – A child was hit and seriously hurt by a vehicle in Modesto Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The major injury crash happened near Frazier Street and Inyo Avenue at approximately 5:50 p.m.
An individual was reportedly hit by a vehicle near the Modesto intersection in front of a Baptist church under unclear circumstances.

The child sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient, whose name was not revealed, was attended to by Paramedics and then taken to an area hospital for further treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
