Michael Reed ID’d as 66-Year-Old Rider Killed in Vallejo Bicycle Crash on Fairgrounds Drive
Vallejo, California (September 24, 2019) – The man who was killed in a bicycle collision early Saturday morning in Vallejo has been identified as Michael Reed, 66, of Vallejo, according to police.
The crash was reported at about 1:20 a.m. September 21, on Fairgrounds Drive.
Police said a 25-year-old American Canyon man was driving a 2012 Toyota Prius northbound on Fairgrounds Drive when it crashed into Reed, who was riding a bicycle westbound.
Michael Reed Killed in Vallejo Bicycle Crash
Michael Reed was rushed to a trauma center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene.
Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
