Teenager Killed in Merced County Motorcycle Crash at Bradbury Road and East Clausen Road
Merced County, California (May 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon traffic collision that killed a 15-year-old Turlock boy northwest of Delhi in Merced County.
At about 4:30 p.m., May 17, at the intersection of Bradbury Road and East Clausen Road.
The 15-year-old boy was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Clausen Road approaching Bradbury Road when he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection, according to the police.
He was reportedly broadsided by a big rig that was driving eastbound on Bradbury Road.

The boy, whose name was not disclosed, was declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
A 28-year-old man, the big rig driver, remained at the scene and was cooperating with the authorities.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
