Andon Alexander Urbina Killed in Collision at Old River Road and Copus Road
Bakersfield, California (May 18, 2020) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has disclosed the identity of a boy who was killed in a car crash in Bakersfield on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Old River and Copus roads at about 6:27 p.m. May 17.
A car is reported to have run a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a passing semi-truck.
Andon Alexander Urbina ID’d as Boy Killed in Car Crash in Bakersfield
16-year-old Andon Alexander Urbina, of Tehachapi, who was riding in the sedan was killed in the collision.
Other passengers in the sedan sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The semi-truck driver was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
