McKittrick, CA: Major Injuries Reported After Truck and Backhoe Crash on State Route 33 at Lost Hills Road
1 Hospitalized after McKittrick Accident on State Route 33 at Lost Hills Road
McKittrick, California (February 18, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a McKittrick truck accident Wednesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the major injury crash took place at about 2:50 p.m. on State Route 33 at Lost Hills Road.
The accident involved a semi-truck and a backhoe that crashed on the highway for unknown reasons.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and offered first aid treatment to the backhoe driver who had suffered major injuries, including a broken arm . The unidentified patient was then rushed to an area hospital for further treatment.
An investigation into the February 17 crash is underway.
