Malibu, California (February 18, 2021) – A driver was airlifted to a hospital following a traffic accident in Malibu, according to a local news source.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at about 4:40 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway.

As per the report, a vehicle was traveling on Pacific Coast Highway when, for undetermined reasons, it drifted off the highway and crashed over the side of Malibu Canyon.

As a result of the collision, the driver was thrown approximately 100 feet from the vehicle.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the driver conscious. The patient was flown to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
