Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Poplar Street near Fairmount Avenue in City Heights
City Heights, California (May 7, 2021) – A 55-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in City Heights on Thursday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Poplar Street near Fairmount Avenue at about 9:25 p.m. May 6.
The man was walking in the northbound lane of the highway when he was struck by a 2021 Toyota Corolla driven by a 20-year-old woman.
The police said the man sustained life-threatening head injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
