Man Dies in Madera Pedestrian Crash on Owens Street near Wilson Street

Madera, California (January 8, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday evening in Madera, according to a police report.
The accident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. January 7 on Owens Street south of Wilson Street.
Police said the responding officers located a man in the middle of the road near the vehicle involved.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
No details were provided on the identities of the parties involved and how the crash happened.
