Minor Injuries Reported in Auburn Crash on 80 Freeway near Atlantic Street
Auburn, California (January 8, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a traffic collision Monday evening in the area of Auburn, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 5:50 p.m. Monday, January 6, on 80 Freeway, just east of Atlantic Boulevard.
As per the report, a blue Ford F150 and a black Mazda crashed for unknown reasons. The Ford was on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway while the Mazda was in Lane 1 after the collision.
An ambulance unit was sent to the scene to attend to the injured persons. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately available.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
