Man Killed in Los Angeles County Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at East Florence Avenue and South Alameda Street
Los Angeles County, California (August 24, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning at an intersection in the Huntington Park area of Los Angeles County, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened shortly before 4;30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, at the intersection of East Florence Avenue and South Alameda Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the Huntington Park intersection.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying down on the roadway following the crash.

The pedestrian was later declared dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of family.
The driver involved fled the scene after the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
