Orange County, California (August 24, 2020) – A person was killed, and four other people were injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash happened at around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, August 23, on the Eastern Transportation Corridor (241)  near Santiago Canyon Road.

The  California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided on the toll road near Santiago Canyon Road for unknown reasons.

One person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

Four other people were transported to hospitals with unspecified injuries. Their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
