4 Injured, Konstantin Vodyano Arrested after Lafayette Crash on Highway 24 near Acalanes Road

Lafayette, California (April 8, 2020) – Four people were injured in a suspected DUI collision on Monday night in Lafayette, according to the Contra Costa CHP.
The crash was reported at about 9:06 p.m. April 6, on Highway 24 near the Acalanes Road exit.
According to the CHP, a Lexus sedan traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Highway 24 crashed into the rear of a Safeway big rig.

The driver of the Lexus, Konstantin Vodyanov, 22, of Pinole, and his three male passengers were transported to a hospital with major injuries.
Vodyanov was also arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
The operator of the big rig was uninjured.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
